Mr Walton, Principal of Mount Pellon Primary Academy, usually instigates the conga as a reward for classes who achieve 100% attendance. The children really look forward to their treat and enjoy the conga journey throughout the school.

However, after receiving the recent Ofsted inspection judgement of ‘GOOD’, the school decided to reward all the children with a whole-school conga. All the children and all the staff, from nursery to year 6, did the conga through the school and its grounds, led by Mr Walton. Smiling faces were to be seen all around, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
