Northern Education Trust

Northern Education Trust is looking to invite new governors to join a Combined Academy Council of two primary academies: Abbey Park Primary Academy HX2 9DG Halifax and Mount Pellon Primary Academy HX1 4RG Halifax.

Our Vision

We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we will enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care. Outcomes Focused, Child Centred.

What we can offer you

We are looking for new governors to join a newly formed Combined Academy Council within Northern Education Trust. We need governors who will have the drive and determination to get the best for the children and young people in their care.

We can offer you:

  • a family of schools within the Trust and a set of values we all share
  • support for your role in an Academy Council.
  • well-resourced school environments with well-behaved pupils who are keen to learn
  • good relationships and loyalty with pupils, parents, carers and the wider community.

If you have a love of learning and enthusiasm we look forward to hearing from you.

This is an excellent opportunity for people to find somewhere in their local community you can provide invaluable voluntary support, care and guidance. Work with us to build something very special for the children and young people and the communities we seek to serve.

We are committed to safeguarding pupils, and all Governors will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

For further information please contact Dianne Greaves E: [email protected] for an application form.
